DAY 1 : CASABLANCA :

Pick up at the airport or in the riad, depending on what you want. We start the tour visiting the largest city in all of Morocco, Casablanca, the administrative capital. A modern city that keeps inside and behind the walls of the medina a real city withi ts souks and alleys.Here are the most emblematic and interest of this beautiful city to visit places such as: the Great Mosque of Hassan II, the neighborhood of Anfa, the Park of Nations, the Boulevardde la Corniche.  At the end of the day, we will take you to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and spend the night.


DAY 2 : FROM CASABLANCA TO CHEFCHAOUEN :

Pick up from your hotel and we will continue the Morocco tour to Rabat, capital of Morocco where we will visit the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of Oudaya ( SXIII ), the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower. Then we continue to Chefchaouen in Rif mountains. At the end of the day, we will take you to your accommodation, where you will have dinner and spend the night


DAY 3 : CHEFCHAOUEN:

Today we explore Chefchaouen, free program afternoon.


DAY 4 : FROM CHEFCHAOUEN TO FEZ:

Today we drive from Chefchaouen to Fez. You will have free program afternoon and  we will have dinner and spend the night in local riad.


DAY 5 : FEZ GUIDED TOUR :

After breakfast, the day will be especially dedicated to the visit of Fes. This beautiful city is divided into three zones: Fes el­ Bali, the old part. Fès el­ Jdid, the new and Ville Nouvelle, the French side. People who visit this city are completely enthralled by is one ofthe largest medieval sites full of endless streets. Here are many things to visit: The Mellah, the Jewish Quarter, the Plaza of the dyers, Fes el Bali, the medieval medina of the city, Fes el Jedid, the new medina of Fes, the Andalusian Mosque, and many more sites. When the day ends, we will move to the riad where you will have dinner and spend thenight.


DAY 6 : FROM FEZ TO MERZOUGA DESERT :

After breakfast you’ll leave Fes travelling towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then to Merzouga via Azrou and the Ziz Valley.  During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains.  Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well see Barbary apes. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Your journey continues to Merzouga desert.


DAY 7 : DESERT TOUR IN MERZOUGA :

After breakfast in the Riad we’ll start exploring the area, visiting the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle and the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations.  You may also want to see the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities.  In the afternoon you can ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand sea of Merzouga, enjoying a wonderful sunset over the golden dunes and an overnight stay at the desert camp, equipped with flash toilets.


DAY 8 : FROM  MERZOUGA DESERT TO DADES GORGES :

Rising early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga.  En-route you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the Riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades valley. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.


DAY 9 : FROM DADES GORGES TO MARRAKECH :

After breakfast in the hotel, we’ll set off through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. Today you will have the opportunity to meet Berber Nomads in their caves enjoying the fertile Rose valley and the rock formations along the way. We’ll stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over.  Continuing on to Skoura and the birds valley; visiting the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved kasbah in this area. After some hiking in the valley, we’ll stop for lunch in a restaurant, overlooking the gorge. Then it’s on to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose geography and beautiful landscapes has attracted many world class movie producers.  Here you may choose to visit the studios, containing props used in movies, you may have already seen; such as The Mummy, Gladiator and the Last temptation of Christ. Our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your overnight accommodation in Marrakech.


DAY 10 : MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR :

After a big breakfast you will have the opportunity to visit by yourself or if you wish with a local guide. What to say about this great city, a city full of life. There are large and interesting things to visit such as: Jamaa el Fna square: during the day you will find positions juices, nuts … and at night isfilled with food stalls where you can enjoy typical Moroccan food. Koutoubia Mosque: This is the most important mosque in this city but access is not allowed for non­ practitioners of Islam. Bahia Palace: The palace building and this was done in over a decade, and its interior is full of rooms decorated majestically. A must see. These and many other things to visit in Marrakech. Dinner and sleep in the place of accommodation.


DAY 11 : MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA :

Breakfast is in your Riad, before a tour of the town. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress, the port, the souks and see Thuya wood carved by artisans, walking through the alleys of the medina and past the hundreds of handicrafts. Essaouira is known for its strong winds most of the year so it is known as the “City of the wind” thus it attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilisations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantics. Our visit includes the Mellah – the Jewish headquarter, and the beach. There is an annual festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually it starts in the third week of June, so if your trip coincides with this, you have the option to extend your stay for an extra day. Today you will have lunch in a Moroccan way, bought fishes ‘cooked to order’. The afternoon’s free to walk and explore by yourself. Overnight accommodation is in Riad in the Medina.


DAY 12 : ESSAOUIRA TO MARRAKECH :

After breakfast in your Riad, we’ll depart for Marrakech.  On our way – since this is the land of Argan culture – there’s an opportunity to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties.  After several stops to take photographs, you will continue your travel to Marrakech before checking in to your Riad.  After dinner you will enjoy walking in the famous square of Jemaa El fna, entertained with magicians, story tellers, musicians and snake charmers. Overnight be in a Medina based Riad.


DAY 13 : END OF THE MOROCCO TOUR :

After breakfast, transfer to airport and end of the tour. End of our Casablanca private tour with “Welcome Morocco Tours”.
